Billing Increments

The billing increments show how your long distance phone company rounds the length of your calls for the purpose of billing. This term applies when you are charged a per-minute rate for your calls.

6 second increments
A 1 minute 25 second call is rounded to 1 minute 30 seconds.

60 second increments (full minute increments)
Calls rounded to the nearest minute. A 1 minute 25 second call is rounded to 2 minutes.
